SPOL (South Pars Oil Layer) Project :

South Pars Oil Layer (SPOL) field is located in the Persian Gulf, 100 km south west of the Iranian coast, and adjacent to the international boundary with Qatar. It is located in -/+ 67 meters water depth.
DCI has working in South Pars Oil Layer (SPOL) within a contract to PEDCO with start date June 2012 and finish date May 2013 for 330 days.

Scope of work for SPOL wells after rig moving and positioning are as below:
  • Tie-Back all seven wells to platform.
  • Re-Entry and complete the SPOA wells.
  • Well testing and stimulation of SPOA wells
  • Completion of SPOA wells
  • Production test and stimulation of other SPOA wells

DCI provided the  Drilling Unit fully equipped and Drilling Services and Supporting Logistics for 7 wells in the Project.
Drillig services provided by DCI: ROV, Seabed Survey, MLS, Casing Running, Liner hanger, Drilling fluid, Cementing, Whipstock, Wellhead & X-mass tree, H2S, Fishing, Stimulation and Well testing .

The achievements of DCI in the Project are as follows:
  • 7568 hours jack up drilling
  • Implementing various drilling services
  • Implementing 500 hours chopper flight
  • Providing three supply boats for transporting materials, water and fuel
  • 240 Days Without LTI (Lost Time Injury)
